Operations Manager
£60,000 + car allowance
Hybrid (minimum 1 day a week in the office)
Burton on Trent office base with UK travel
The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to be part of an expanding team with a well-established business, providing turnkey engineering solutions into a wide client base.
Scope of role
- Overseeing the day to day delivery of UK projects. - Ensuring projects are delivered on time, to expected standards and within budget. - Supporting the project management team to drive performance and individual professional growth. - Drive health & safety across the project teams. - Monitor the success of existing and previous projects to improve on quality, profitability and deliverability. - Manage client satisfaction and highlight ways to improve to ensure repeat business. - Ensure all actions for the projects teams are updated on the company CRM system. - Support the project management team with their daily duties on planned and ongoing projects. - Carry out regular visits to ensure high visibility for both the teams and clients. - Liaise with senior leadership team on project status. - Experienced within an operational leadership role. - Background in operational management of large multi nationals, as well as SME's. - Successful people and project leader, with the necessary skills to effectively coach and development team performance. - Strong health & safety management skills, ideally with HSE qualifications. - Willingness to travel to UK based sites. - First rate organisational and time management skills.
