Experienced HR Resource with Defence Industry Knowledge

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HR Resource to join our team. Our client is an esteemed defence organisation based in the United Kingdom, which provides critical services that support national security.

As an ideal candidate, you should have proven expertise in managing human resources within the defence sector along with knowledge of IPSA (Interim Personnel Security Assurance) regulations. You will be responsible for providing professional guidance on all aspects of people management while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee recruitment processes including advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates and conducting interviews
- Develop policies and procedures related to employee relations such as disciplinary actions or grievance handling
- Provide advice on employment law matters
- Manage payroll administration activities

Qualifications & Skills Required:

1. Relevant Experience:
- Proven experience working in a similar role within the defence industry.

2. Security Clearance:
- Must hold appropriate level clearance according to UK Government standards

3. IPSA Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Interim Personnel Security Assurance guidelines

4.Skills:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision
