Underwriting Manager - Casualty
My client, a prestigious insurer, is seeking an accomplished Underwriting Manager to lead and oversee their high-performing liability lines following an internal promotion. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven individual to advance their career in a technically focused role, working closely with the Chief Underwriting Officer.
Base Salary: Up to £150,000
Location: City of London
Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office
In this role, you will take ownership of portfolio management, leveraging data analysis and market trends to fuel growth, while developing and implementing robust underwriting strategies. Additionally, you will provide mentoring and guidance where needed.
Your focus will be on optimizing the liability portfolio that spans across UK, Multinational, and selected overseas markets. Collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders, including trading teams, you'll ensure alignment with the company's strategic growth plans. This position offers significant exposure across the business.
