A Milton Keynes based company who've developed an innovative testing solution for the food and beverage industry are searching for a Supply Chain Manager. They've successfully completed Beta-testing and are now scaling their business to support international demand.
Along with a salary of up to £66,000 per annum, you will also receive pension contributions and 21 days paid leave plus bank holidays.
The role is ideal for someone with experience, looking to further develop their career in a scaling business with significant autonomy to make an impact.
What you'll do as Supply Chain Manager:
You'll lead and manage all supply chain and operational activities within the company. It's a senior role and you'll have the opportunity to make a broad impact, including the achievement of ISO 9001 and establishment of international logistics capabilities.
Production of their hardware is largely outsourced to suppliers, but Quality Assurance, Inventory and shipping operations are in-house and managed by this role. You'll also take the lead in ensuring a safe and environmentally friendly environment.
As the company continues to grow there's potential to progress into a general management position leading their overall site-based activities.
We're looking for a Supply Chain Manager with:
- Proven experience in supply chain management materials logistics, ideally in an organisation with well established procedures, policies and effective controls
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Good business acumen and experience of collaborating effectively with other business functions, particularly finance
- Experience of developing effective long term supplier relationships
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders
You will be working in the office Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00
