Exciting Opportunity: Complex Needs Teachers Needed for KS1 and KS2/3!

Position: Complex Needs Teacher (X2)

Location: Hackney

Salary: £150-£210

Start date: September 2024

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience in supporting students with complex needs? We have an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic individuals to join our client school in Hackney as Complex Needs Teachers. One position is available for Key Stage 1 (KS1), and another for Key Stages 2 and 3 (KS2/3).

Qualifications for Complex Needs Teacher:

? QTS or Equivalent: Qualified Teacher Status from the UK.

? Experience in Special Education: Previous experience working with students with complex needs, preferably within a special school setting.

? Understanding of SEN: Knowledge and understanding of special educational needs, including complex needs, and how to adapt teaching methods accordingly.

? Differentiation Skills: Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with complex needs.

? Team Collaboration: Collaborative approach to working with other professionals, including support staff, therapists, and external agencies.

? Innovative Teaching: Creativity in developing and implementing engaging and effective teaching strategies for students with complex needs.

? Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust teaching methods and approaches based on individual student needs and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of students with complex needs.

Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assess student progress and development, using a variety of assessment tools and methods, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

Individualised Support: Provide personalized support and interventions to address specific needs, including sensory challenges, communication difficulties, and behavioral issues.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure coordinated support and continuity of care for students with complex needs.

? Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
