Opportunity:

We're on the lookout for Mechanical Bias Engineers to join our esteemed team at our Prestwick workshop. This role isn't confined to one space; it's about getting hands-on at various customer locations in area, including occasional travel to other UK airports. Key Responsibilities:

Performing planned maintenance on aircraft ground support equipment and tooling

Executing repairs according to a pre-established maintenance schedule

Diagnosing and troubleshooting a spectrum of issues, spanning hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems

Managing the collection and delivery of customer equipment across our network

Collaborating seamlessly within our tight-knit engineering team

Conducting equipment surveys to pinpoint faults and produce reports

Providing support at different local customer sites as required

Effectively communicating with the Operations Team to ensure smooth job execution

What We Seek in You:

A can-do attitude and a proactive approach to tasks

Ideally, a formal engineering or related qualification

Demonstrated experience in a similar role is a plus

Outstanding customer service skills

The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in IT, including MS Office applications

Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptable to all levels of interaction

Additional Details:

Occasional travel between sites may be necessary

Right to work in the UK is a requirement

The ability to obtain an airport pass, contingent on a clean personal record and relevant work/educational history up to 5 years prior, along with references
