We are currently seeking a Café General Assistant to join our client's dynamic team in the facilities industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with catering experience and a passion for coffee to showcase their skills and contribute to the success of our client's café.
About the role:
- Position: Café General Assistant
- Contract Type: Temporary assignment with the opportunity to go permanent
- Hourly Rate: From £11.50/ hour
- Start Date: 1st June 2024
- Driving Required: Advantageous
- Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Thursday (8am-3pm) and Friday (8am-2pm)

What will you be doing?
- Assisting with general café duties, including food preparation, serving customers, and operating coffee machines.
- Ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained at all times.
- Taking orders and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Keeping the café clean and tidy, including carrying out cleaning tasks and restocking supplies.
- Driving to pick up stock and supplies, as and when required.
What do we require from you?
- Previous catering experience, ideally with barista and coffee-making experience.
- A Level 2 Food Safety qualification advantageous
- The flexibility to work the required hours as outlined in the working pattern.
