**About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Therapy Lead to join a dynamic inpatient mental health service. This senior position is ideal for an experienced and qualified clinician looking to step into a leadership role while continuing to provide clinical care.
You will work closely with service leadership to oversee therapy delivery across NHS inpatient wards, ensuring effective team coordination, high-quality interventions, and service development.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary therapy team including psychologists, occupational therapists, and assistants.
- Provide clinical supervision and professional development support to team members.
- Manage a reduced clinical caseload and support complex case discussions.
- Coordinate therapy services to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with best practice.
- Support the recruitment, retention, and development of therapy staff.
- Drive evidence-based practice and contribute to service innovation.
- Attend management meetings and contribute to wider service planning.
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safeguarding and regulatory standards.
**Candidate Requirements:
- Registered with a professional body (e.g., HCPC, BACP, BABCP, UKCP).
- Leadership experience within a mental health or therapy setting.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary therapy approaches in inpatient care.
- Skilled in supervision, staff coordination, and team development.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and risk management skills.
- Commercial awareness and flexibility to adapt to changing service needs.
