My client is a well established audio system design company. They manufacture a multitude of household sound devices from amplifiers to CD players. They are looking for a Software Test Engineer with an interest in music/audio technology to join their expanding software development team.
Main Duties:
**+**Working closely with the Software Development team to develop test plans to identify issues and ensure compliance with product specifications.
**+**Assisting the production team with the development of cutting edge features and platforms.
**+**Regression testing on existing products.
**+**Learning and utilising existing test automation procedures.
Skills and Experience Required:
**+**Proven experience testing software (embedded systems would be advantageous).
**+**Comfortable working with embedded systems, preferably in a linux environment.
**+**Proficieny in a programming language, preferably python.
**+**Experience with electronic testing (e.g using oscilloscopes, multimeters) is beneficial, but not essential.
**+**A degree in an audio/engineering discipline or a demonstrable passion for audio and audio systems would be advantageous.
