Contracts Manager

We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our client's hardworking team and provide comprehensive support to their Operation Managers. The successful candidate will be instrumental in aiding the company's development of further envelope services, including glazing systems, door packages, and curtain walling.
Day to Day of the role:
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and Contracts Managers to learn the role, develop knowledge of cladding systems, and understand company policies and procedures.
- Manage or delegate the procurement of project materials, plant, and subcontractors to ensure successful project completion, including site visits and material measurements.
- Identify project labour requirements in advance, providing the site team with all necessary information such as briefings, drawings, and programmes.
- Oversee project works both on-site and in the office, ensuring issues are communicated to relevant departments and maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, and site management.
- Maintain orderly project and post-project documentation, including applications for payments, invoicing, and off-hiring of materials.
- Liaise with the Commercial Manager to ensure all relevant project information and contractual documents are up-to-date, and any issues are resolved positively.
- Work with the Estimating Team and Commercial Manager to estimate and develop quotations for client projects, particularly in glazing systems, door packages, and curtain walling.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the cladding or related industry.
- Knowledge of facade systems and associated projects.
- Strong procurement and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- Ability to maintain high levels of health & safety and quality standards.
- Competency in maintaining project documentation and financial records.
