Forklift Driver - Bridgwater - Temporary to Permanent
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver for their manufacturing client in Bridgwater.
37.5 Hours a week working on a rotating shift
Week 1 - Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.15pm
Week 2 - Monday to Friday 2.00pm to 10.15pm
45 minutes of unpaid breaks a day.
Pay £12.30 an hour.
The role will be working in a small team, keeping the production lines supplied with materials by getting them out of the warehouse and to the right area within the factory and getting the materials set up on the machine which will include connecting chemical tanks to the production lines. You will also be responsible for preparing the finished products ready for delivery. This will include wrapping them securely on pallets, moving the stock using a counterbalance forklift. Basic data entry computer skills are required, to enter on the computer system stock going in and out of the warehouse.
This is not a forklift job that you will spend most of your time driving a counterbalance licence. It is essential that you do either hold a current counterbalance forklift licence or have held one at some point.
