Up to £42,500 depending on experience, plus on call allowance.

We are looking to recruit an EC&I Engineer, who will work closely with the Maintenance Team, ensuring the site is operational in both a safe and productive manner. Take an active approach to continuous improvement, whilst showcasing an ability to identify and report on problems.

This role does operate a 1 week in 4 on call rota whilst, offering an on-call allowance on top of the salary.

Responsibilities of the EC&I Engineer:

  • Make sure systems are operating efficiently by performing preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair of a variety of equipment, such as PLC based control loops, solenoid control loops and safety systems.
  • Functional testing of control systems.
  • Routine proof testing of safety instrumented systems.
  • Maintain all records of the electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
  • Maintain all circuit and layout diagrams on site.
  • Have an active participation in training and continuous improvement, writing up all training notes.

What we are looking for in the EC&I Engineer:

  • Hold an IPAF certificate and trained to in BS7671 wiring regulations.
  • IT would be advantageous to have knowledge of BS60079, BS EN 61508 and BS EN. 61511.
  • A self-starter, who is also data driven.
  • Clear and effective communication.
  • Excellent knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations.
