Financial Controller / 60k -70k prorated / 4 days per week / Hybrid / Burscough
Employment Particulars:
9.00am - 5pm, flexibility around hours if needed
3 days on site, 1 working from home
25 days holiday + bank holiday

Accountable Recruitment have partnered with an SME based near Burscough to recruit a Financial Controller to join their team. Reporting directly into the MD, you will be responsible for ensuring all accounting activities are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for manging a small team.
Day to day duties will include:
- Oversee all transaction posted on to the system
- Monthly management accounts
- Provide financial performance and commentaries to senior leadership team
- Preparation of yearly budgets and cash flow forecasting
- Responsible for accruals, prepayments, depreciation and stock adjustments
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Year end accounts preparation
- VAT returns
- Oversee the weekly banking
The successful candidate must:
- be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- have good system skills
- have worked in a similar role
