Job Description: Supply Chain Assistant

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a growing manufacturing business based in centre of Huddersfield in the search for a Supply Chain Assistant, initially on an 8-12 month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a supply chain professional to bolster their CV or get on the ladder within the supply chain industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the end-to-end supply chain processes within the manufacturing industry.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to replenish stock as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory transactions.
- Support the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyse data to identify trends, forecast demand, and support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolve any supply chain issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
