Reward & Benefits Specialist

York – Hybrid Working

Salary £45,000 - £50,000

Elevation Recruitment – HR Division are working with our client to find an experienced Reward & Benefits Specialist to join their team.

The team are looking to welcome someone who can provide in-depth support in all things reward, supporting and leading projects that will help to deliver the overall people plan.

As Reward & Benefits Specialist, your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead on any annual cyclic projects end to end, in line with objectives and budgets
  • Take control of all Benefits related administration, including pensions, life assurance, Group Income Protection
  • Work collaboratively with the people and payroll teams, offering coaching and support to colleagues
  • Data analysis, offering in depth reporting on BAU reward activities as well as project progression
  • Ad hoc duties as required including managing the inboxes and specialist support for benefits in kind, including Company Vehicles / PMI

The ideal person will have:

  • A wealth of experience of employee benefits management as well as taking the lead on a variety of different projects
  • A strong understanding of UK pension regulations with the ability to liaise with different providers, working closely with external and internal stakeholders
  • Up to date knowledge of Payroll and the ability to use HRIS and Payroll systems effectively
  • Solid IT literacy, including excel; with a clear and concise communication style and the ability to share technical knowledge at all levels
  • CIPD L5 or PMI qualifications are advantageous
