Position Overview:
The Managing Director (MD) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations in the UK, with a particular focus on expanding market presence and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the UPS and BMS sectors, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of increasing market share through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive market share growth in the UPS and BMS sectors.
Market Expansion: Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities to expand the company's footprint in the UK.
Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Sales and Marketing: Lead the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies that increase market penetration and customer acquisition.
Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Financial Oversight: Manage the financial performance of the UK operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role within the UPS and BMS industry.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of UPS systems, Battery Management Systems, and related automation technologies.
Market Knowledge: Proven experience in growing market share and expanding business operations within the technology or energy sectors.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
Strategic Thinking: Excellent strategic planning and execution skills, with a focus on achieving long-term business goals.
