On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established engineering firm with a long 75 year history of innovation. You'll be part of a skilled team responsible for the repair and maintenance of motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment. You'll receive ongoing training and be paid overtime at 1.5x.
In this role, you will focus on repairing and rewinding AC/DC motors and armatures, diagnosing faults, and conducting root cause analysis. You'll also be responsible for logging work into the job control system and contributing to the development of engineering apprentices.
The ideal candidate will have experience in motor and pump repair and a qualification in electro-mechanical engineering. You will also need to hold a full UK driving license.
The role
- Repairing and rewinding an array of equipment
- Fault diagnosing and analysis
- Potential travel to client sites
The person
- Possess an Electro-Mechanical degree
- Experience with motors and pumps
- Commutable to St Helens and a full UK driving licence
