Are you a seasoned finance professional with a knack for managing small teams and driving financial excellence? We're seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join our client and take charge of financial operations. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make a real impact, keep reading!
Key Responsibilities but not limited to
Management Reporting: Ensure timely production of monthly management reports, KPIs, and oversee cash management.
Process Improvement: Develop and enhance financial processes, controls, and KPI reporting for improved control and performance.
Team Support: Provide assistance to the Group Financial Controller and Ledger Controller, including query resolution and coaching junior staff.
Financial Operations: Prepare month-end management accounts, stock calculations, payroll accounting, and other financial duties.
Compliance: Handle VAT returns, regulatory reporting, and support with audits and external filings.
Cashflow Management: Prepare and present weekly cashflow reports and manage supplier payments across the Group.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience in finance management, preferably with experience in FMCG and Retailer engagement.
Leadership Skills: Supportive and hands-on approach to managing teams.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Sage 50 / Hellenic / Navision, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to change, escalate concerns, and work on ad-hoc projects.
Professionalism: Maintain confidentiality, adhere to policies and procedures, and communicate courteously with stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant or QBE, with experience in manufacturing/agricultural industries.
