We are looking for a Facilities Operatve for a brilliant compnay based near Falmouth. This is a month long contract with an immediate start date.

Role Summary:

The role involves conducting various maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks on site, both reactively and proactively, to ensure the safety, security, and upkeep of estates. This supports the facility's success and provides a conducive working environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Execute assigned duties such as repairs, maintenance, and project tasks within set deadlines, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  2. Respond promptly to emergencies, maintaining communication with the team and stakeholders.
  3. Ensure equipment is maintained to safety standards.
  4. Coordinate contractor activities to optimize value for money and compliance.
  5. Maintain a positive and professional image of the company and the facilities function.

Reporting and Communication:

  1. Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
  2. Regularly meet with the Facilities Team Leader to review progress and efficiency.
  3. Contribute to the development of key performance indicators.
  4. Monitor and report on facility conditions for timely repairs.

Planning, Projects, and Improvements:

  1. Identify and report issues affecting service delivery for continuous improvement.
  2. Participate in site projects as assigned.
  3. Pursue personal development goals to enhance contribution to success.
