Special Situations M&A Senior Manager

We are instructed by a prestigious London based advisory team to recruit an exceptional Senior Manager for their Special Situations M&A division. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team, working directly as the number two to the Head of Special Situations. The role offers significant room for progression within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage distressed M&A transactions from inception to completion, ensuring successful deal execution.

Provide strategic advice and support to clients undergoing financial restructuring, insolvency, or other special situations.

Collaborate closely with the Head of Special Situations to develop and implement innovative solutions tailored to client needs.

Conduct detailed financial analysis and due diligence on distressed assets and companies.

Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and strategic opportunities.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders.

Prepare and present detailed reports, financial models, and strategic plans to clients and senior management.

Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).

Extensive experience in restructuring and distressed M&A, ideally within a top-tier consultancy or advisory firm.

Proven track record of managing complex transactions and delivering successful outcomes.

Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

Highly motivated, with a strategic mindset and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
