Now seeking a new Production Manager to join a leading manufacturer of lab equipment at their site in North Somerset, as result of continued investment and growth.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, your main responsibility will be the running and day to day management of the Production and Warehouse team.
This will include managing all aspects of production facility for the day to day operations.
Working with Procurement you will ensure stock availability meets scheduled build plans.
Responsible for the day to day running of Production, you will ensure the factory is run efficiently, keeping build to time and cost, and ensuring Health & Safety requirements are met.
In addition to Production, you will have direct responsibility for the day to day operations of the Production and warehouse team. All operational, HR and other issues are the responsibilities managed by the Manufacturing Manager.

Experience:
As the successful Production Manager, you should have a proven background in a manufacturing environment, along with at least 2 years in a management role.
Ideally you should have experience operating within an ISO9001:2015 environment, coupled with a working knowledge of Health & Safety ISO14001 Understanding.
Qualifications:
Ideally you will have at least an HNC in Manufacturing, Engineering or a relevant discipline.
