Infrastructure Automation Engineer
Permanent – Up to £83k (Based on experience) - Ipswich/Victoria
4 days a week on-site

An exciting opportunity to work with a prestigious financial organisation. The client is looking for a highly motivated and eager individual with strong communication skills, to join their team.
The role is 80% automation and 20% architecture focussed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review responses from the RFI and conduct site visits to verify and validate the information provided. Dive deeper into the answers to develop a detailed understanding of each entity's overall architecture model and ICT costs.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization's current ICT workforce skill set.
- Gather and obtain appropriate documentation of the current environments.
- Create documentation where there are gaps to present a full analysis of the organization's infrastructure environments and costs to the Group ICT Director.
- Formulate a fit-for-purpose solution focused on delivering a cost-efficient, single-domain shared architecture with appropriate entity demarcation and virtual desktop delivery to the organization's businesses.
- Focus on eliminating the current services provided by the organization's existing group.
- Collaborate with the organization's ICT team to implement the solution.
Key Experience:
- Strong experience with PowerShell scripting
- In depth knowledge of Python
- Strong Active directory skills
- Strong networking knowledge: WAN, LAN, Routing Protocols
Desirable Skills:
- Finance Sector experience
- Strong both individually and within a team
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Excellent organisational skills
