Role Overview:
As an Income Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability of our organisation. Your responsibilities will include negotiating payment arrangements with customers, providing welfare benefit advice, and preparing court applications. You'll also be on standby to visit customers in their homes and attend court hearings when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering a comprehensive rent and service charge collection service across the regionMonitoring customer accounts for all tenuresManaging end-to-end processesCollaborating with external agencies, including local authoritiesHandling evictions
Requirements:Experience in income management or debt recovery/collectionKnowledge of social housing, home ownership, or the private rented sectorExcellent customer service skillsFamiliarity with welfare benefitsSelf-starter with a proactive approachEffective decision-making skills and ability to work independentlyFull driving license required due to travel in this roleWhat We Offer:
