Assistant HR Manager - Cumbria - Up to 38k - 1 day WFH

H9 Human Resources are working with a dynamic and forward-thinking organization, looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant HR Manager to join their team.

The Assistant HR Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department across various functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years HR experience. The role would suit either a current Deputy HR Manager or a HR Advisor looking to take their next step in their career. A willingness to be fully involved in the busy department is essential.

Some of the responsibilities are but not limited too:

  • Provide advice and coach line managers on the effective application of policies and procedures.
  • Managing long term sickness cases and persistent short term sickness absence to ensure effective resolution including returning to work and or ill health dismissal as appropriate.
  • Creating and delivering training workshops to assist with line management development of key HR requirements of their role for example discipline, sickness absence, recruitment & selection & performance management.
  • To maintain, develop and update the computerised HR database accurately, inputting employee data

There is the opportunity to work from home 1 day a week and the salary offered is up too £38,000pa.
