Your Company:
An engineering services business is searching the market for a Grit/Shot Blaster to join their team located in the Eastleigh area. The company provide a wide range of expert and niche services to their client base, including cleaning and surface treatments. This position holder will join a growing team to provide excellent services for clients.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
- Working in a blast booth
- Utilising high pressure blast hoses and grit on assigned work
- Working mainly in industrial steel
- Any ad hoc work as required by management
What you will need to Apply:
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced grit/shot blaster with a significant number of years' experience in blasting, specifically in a blast booth as opposed to cabinet blasting which is not relevant for this position. Applicants must have a good level of communication skills, both in written and verbal form and they must be able to work independently and as part of a wider team. There will be the expectation of weekend work on some Saturdays within this role and there will also be options for overtime working which is expected when required.
What you will get in Return:
For the successful candidate a starting salary of up to £37,000 will be on offer, depending on the level of relevant experience possessed in relation to the role requirements, and this will accompany a peripheral package including a strong holiday and pension allocation, other employee benefits and the possibility of a discretionary bonus.
