Lead Network Infrastructure Engineer

My London Borough client are recruiting for a Lead Network Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team!

Location: Central London
Salary: £58,184-£67,886 + potential 10% market supplement for the right candidate

You will be required to:

- Lead their approach to designing, building, testing, implementing and operating their corporate network.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology offerings, both cloud and on-premises, as well as best practice for configuration and monitoring, allowing them to take advantage of the latest technologies.
- You'll contribute to their cloud migration strategy, governance, and best practices.
- You will lead their Network Team, delivering solutions and services for them and monitoring their network to ensure availability and quality.
- You will be a subject matter expert and design authority for their approach to networking, including Azure-based cloud network services, tooling, and platforms.
- You will ensure that their critical network infrastructure is designed and optimised for security, high availability and disaster recovery.
- You will also collaborate with the Information Security Team to ensure compliance with the ISO27001, PCI-DSS and PSN standards.
- You'll also work to improve their legacy on-premise environment to make their technology services more cost-effective and agile.

You must have the following experience:

- implementing, administering, and monitoring a range of relevant network technologies.
- understanding of cloud architecture and implementation features, including security services primarily with Microsoft Azure.
- experience working in a modern agile delivery environment (Scrum, Kanban etc)
- experience working in an ISO27001 environment
- experience implementing and managing solutions incorporating Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, LAN and WiFi, Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Firewall, Microsoft Azure and on-premise Data centre solutions
- designing and maintaining voice and communications technologies, including SIP Trunking and Session Border Controllers (SBC), Microsoft Teams and Netcall Liberty Converse
- Experience and understanding of Cloud Architecture and implementation features including security services, primarily Microsoft Azure.

You will need relevant professional certifications to demonstrate core competency, including;

- Cisco CCNP Enterprise
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
