Charity People are delighted to be partnering with a leading children's charity who are looking for a Postal Services Coordinator to support at their London head office.

For over 140 years, the charity has worked to prevent child abuse in the UK, supporting over one million children annually. Through partnerships with schools, family support, research, therapeutic services, and national helplines, the charity aids children at risk of abuse, regardless of their background or circumstances.

The Postal Services Coordinator will be based within the Property department, which oversees all real estate, facility assets, services, and resources to ensure that core services and other supporting departments operate as efficiently as possible within the workplace.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide and maintain logistical postal and courier services that meets or exceeds the organisation's expectations and requirements
  • Provide and maintain all stationery services that meets or exceeds the organisation's expectations and requirements
  • Provide an excellent customer service experience by being empathic, organised, calm and resilient when dealing with all customer enquiries.
  • Manage key relationships with internal colleagues in the property department, banking support staff and all other staff, and external key relationships with Royal Mail and postal suppliers.

Additional duties and responsibilities

  • Manage and Maintain Logistical, Reprographic, and Stationery Services: Oversee postal, courier, reprographics, and stationery services, ensuring they meet or exceed organisational expectations and are operationally efficient.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver empathetic, organised, and resilient customer service when addressing inquiries, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Manage Key Supplier and Internal Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with postal and reprographics suppliers, property department colleagues, and other internal staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support Facilities and Financial Services: Provide ad-hoc support to facilities-related services, manage petty cash and ticketing, and assist with building services, reception, and tuck shop operations as needed.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience in reprographic, postal, and courier services.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Trained in manual handling, first aid, and fire safety, with a professional and adaptable demeanour.
  • Punctual, reliable, and highly organised with strong record-keeping skills.
