Your new company
- This firm are passionate about business and looking to bring on an bookkeeper to their established growing team.
- As part of a highly enthusiastic (and growing!) team of 30+, you will play a crucial role, building relationships with a growing client portfolio and delivering their key work.
Your new role
- To communicate with clients via phone, email, social media and in person, including chasing records
- To support Client Managers/Accountants onboard new clients and integrate them into their portfolio - this will include bookkeeping, compliance etc to then be handed over to the relevant department.
- To complete, review and prepare book-keeping, VAT returns and CIS.
- To manage and maintain your professional development and learning including any relevant CPD required by your professional body.
What you'll need to succeed
- Be an effective communicator, able to communicate at all levels across the company and to clients directly.
- Experience working in accounting practice preparing work for multiple clients.
Proficient IT skills (Excel & QuickBooks / sage).
- Educated to AAT Level or qualified by experience is desirable.
