Role: Mechanical Fitter - Level 3 Blue Card Holder
Location: Sellafield, Cumbria
Hours: Monday to Friday 38 hours per week - Permanent role - Start ASAP
Salary: £42,029.52 (£21.27 ph) + travel/accomodation contribution allowance
ESSENTIAL QAULIFICATIONS: CSCS Gold card, IOSH Working Safely, Safety passport
Summary:
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment, impacting our company's operations directly. Your responsibilities will include interpreting technical drawings, conducting inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and always adhering to safety protocols.
Duties:
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to plan and execute mechanical installations and repairs.
Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical systems to identify faults and recommend solutions.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate work records, including maintenance logs and inspection reports.
This role will be based on Sellafield in Cumbria, working Monday to Friday. There is a travel or accomodation allowance varying on your location, therefore we are looking for candidates nationwide who are willing/able to travel or stay away during the week. In addition to the base pay there are Site bonuses avaliable, and a pension scheme for all employees.
