Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Science Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of young scientists? We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team in Southwark and make a real impact in students' education.

Position: Science Teacher
Location: Southwark, London
Key Stages: KS3, KS4, KS5
Start Date: September/ October 2024
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3, KS4 and KS5.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams, fostering a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and inquiry.
  • Track student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with the science department to develop and enhance the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
  • Experience in teaching science at KS3, KS4 and KS5.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for science education and a commitment to student success.
