Lecturer - Electrical Installation

Our School of Commercial, Creative and Professional Studies are now looking for a Lecturer - Electrical Installation to deliver outstanding quality in teaching, learning, assessment, and tutorial support to students, to maximise achievement and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum, with employer engagement, and learner skills development central.

We're looking for someone who is qualified to Level 3 in Electrical Installation (as a minimum) and who has experience of teaching on Electrical Installation courses such as City & Guilds 7202-01, 2365-02, 8202-30, EAL Electrotechnical and T Levels in an FE College, School, or private provider. You will have strong evidence of good to outstanding teaching, learning, assessment, and tracking, and be able to work under pressure and to strict validating body deadlines, providing evidence of assessment for moderation.

Additional qualifications such as 2382 (18th Edition), 2391, 2394 and 2395 are highly desirable, but not essential.

This role includes working a minimum of two evenings a week, teaching part time courses to adults (Friday given in lieu during term time as remission).

Subject to a cost of living review from 1 August, the successful candidate will be eligible for any subsequent increase in salary.
