I am currently working with my client, who are in the metal industry and have been successfully operating for over 70 years. Due to a period of expansion they are looking to recruit a Electrical Maintenance engineer
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing machinery, equipment, or systems
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
- Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance projects
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Experience:
- Previous experience in a foundry maintenance role preferred
- Knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems, compressors etc
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Customer service skills to interact with employees and address their maintenance needs
- Welding experience is a plus
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
