SF Recruitment are currently working with a leading Integrator of Warehouse Automation business based in Northampton, We currently looking for a Business Development Manager to develop new and existing business relationships in order to achieve agreed sales targets for new project business
As the Business Development Manager you will a competitive base salary and strong commission potential, this is a great opportunity for a successful sales person with an intralogistics background seeking a challenging and exciting role for a well-established business within the warehouse and logistics sphere.
As the Business Development Manager, you will
- Identify target accounts and build binding relationships with the key decision makers, and using these relationships to gain profitable new contracts for the business/
- Assess and qualify sales enquiries for consideration by the General Manager of the Business Unit
- To lead presentations and presentations teams, supervising the production of proposal documents and cost information
- Use contacts to obtain critical market intelligence, about our competitors, customers and suppliers, enabling the business to tailor its approach accordingly
- Represent the business at exhibitions and conferences using the opportunity to present the business as the supplier of choice within the industry
- Produce sales forecasts, progress reports and other information regarding sales activity in the agreed format
- Recognise the need and deliver a different and more strategic approach to dealing with key, multi-site accounts, building lasting relationships to maximise business opportunities in the longer term
In return you will be offered a basic salary of £85,000, car allowance and bonuses of typically 25% of your base salary.
