About the role

As our organization continues to grow and evolve, our reliance on Salesforce as a critical business platform has increased significantly. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the management, optimization, and continuous improvement of our Salesforce platform. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities and best practices, as well as the ability to design and implement new custom solutions to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Salesforce administration, a strong technical background, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Please note:

We are based in Bristol, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a flexible working pattern, with a minimum of 2 days a week required in the office.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, ensuring its stability, performance, and availability.
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, flows, validation rules, and Service Cloud functionality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and provide ongoing support and training.
  • Perform data management tasks, including data imports, data cleansing, and data quality initiatives.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, customizations, and integrations.
  • Monitor system usage and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies.
  • Mentor and support junior Salesforce administrators and other team members

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) is required; Advanced Administrator (ADM 301) and other relevant certifications are highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
  • Proficiency in data management and security, including data imports, exports, and data quality.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience, including Lightning components and App Builder.
  • Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce development best practices.
  • Experience with third-party applications and integrations, such as marketing automation tools, Data Cloud, Einstein.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Previous experience in a senior or lead role.

Interview process

This will be a two-stage interview process, including a competency and behavioural based interview and assessment task.
