PA / Practice Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PA/Practice Manager to join a fantastic Architecture company based in London, W1.

The position is an PA/Practice Manager (OM) role, supporting the Principal 60% and 40% focused on practice management, with the occasional personal duties for the Principal's family. The company has a pleasant office culture with a strong family feel. With a small team of 25 people, they engage in numerous social activities, some of which you will be responsible for organising.

The PA aspect will involve diary management, client liaison, booking restaurants, attending meetings and minute taking, and general errands for the Principal. On the Practice Manager side, you will be responsible for the smooth running of reception, health and safety and fire safety and HR. They have a user-friendly HR platform, so no direct HR experience is required. You will also be looking after some legal documentation, contracts, and policies.

They are looking for someone practical, hands on, adaptable, and who has a positive/can do attitude. An Architecture background is not essential, but they are looking for someone who has some PA, Office Manager, or Practice Manager experience and is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Initiative is also crucial, as you won't always be given direct instructions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is important, as you will occasionally cover for accounts with excel entries. A driver's license is also a plus, as the Principal may occasionally need help with parking his car.

This is a position where you need to be happy working five days a week in the office.
