I am seeking an experienced individual to join my Dudley-based client as an Accounts Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work with a small, dedicated team within a market-leading business.
This role will involve full control of both sales & purchase ledgers, specifically:
- Recording petty cash transactions & dealing with employee expenses
- Processing purchase invoices and raising monthly payment runs
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions
- Control of the sales ledger, allocating payments correctly and dealing with queries
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer/supplier records
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Ideally you will have:
- AAT qualification
- Proficiency in Sage & Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A mature attitude
