Science Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Science (Science Teaching Assistant) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism, supporting challenging behaviour and special education needs, providing excellent education and care.
They are keen on applicants with a background in Science as well as aspirations to become a Teacher.
The school also offer permanent contacts after 16 weeks at the school.
Duties:
- Supporting within the class focussing on delivering science.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students with autism and special education requirements.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and progress.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Qualifications:
- A Science degree will be beneficial (Not essential)
