The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of pension schemes/transfers, ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional client service.

Description

They are seeking to recruit a Pensions Implementation Manager to join their operations function in managing key projects such as transfers of pension books. Day to day you will be responsible for:

  • Managing pension book transfers and implementation plans
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations
  • Deliver exceptional client service throughout the implementation process
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth transition
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables
  • Identify potential issues or risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress
  • Acting as a key point of contact between internal and external stakeholders
  • Working with a customer focused environment to ensure positive outcomes for pension scheme members
  • Supporting adviser introducers and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding and bulk transfer experience

Profile

A successful Pensions Implementation Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in pensions with a strong working knowledge of industry regulations and processes
  • Ideally an understanding of pension transfers
  • Understanding of commerciality and a track record of delivery
  • A strong leadership style, and able to manage others when necessary, particularly during busy periods
  • Excellent project management skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, under pressure and in a fast paced environment
