Reed are supporting a national charity to recruit an interim financial planning manager for a period of up to 6 months.
This role is heavily focused on the planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles and reports directly into the Head of FP&A.
Duties include -
- Developing robust plans with the business that focus on delivery of service targets, productivity, efficiency and innovation and provide the inputs into the planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Deliver planning and scenario modelling and provide insight into opportunities to improve the overall efficiency that reduce costs.
- Provide insightful analysis between performance and financials to improve business performance.
- Develop specific reporting including activity-based reporting and productivity reporting.
- Build and maintain influential, inclusive and collaborative relationships with the function(s) to which they are assigned.
This role requires someone with solid fp&a experience, is comfortable working with data models and will get some value from working in a charitable setting.
You will ideally be a qualified accountant. Hybrid working is available with a minimum of 2 days in the office on the outskirts of Reading. Umbrella pay rate up to £440 per day depending in experience.
