Service Delivery / Capacity & AvailabilityManager - Hybrid role (2/3) - Glasgow or Edinburgh

Are you passionate about the power of cloud infrastructure, data-driven insights, and streamlining processes? If so, we are looking for a Service Delivery / Capacity & Availability Manager to join our clients dynamic Service Delivery team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to directly influence how their cloud infrastructure supports their SaaS customers, ensuring that it consistently meets performance, capacity, and availability goals.

The role:

Imagine stepping into a position where every day brings a new challenge. One moment you're navigating the Azure portal like a pro, diving deep into cost management and optimisation, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to maximise efficiency. The next, you're collaborating closely with our Cloud Operations and Platform Engineering teams, working together to make our systems more resilient, responsive, and scalable.

Your keen eye for detail will help you identify areas for improvement, while your analytical skills will come into play as you generate reports and provide valuable insights into our cloud infrastructure's performance.

The role doesn't stop at analysis. You'll actively shape processes and contribute to creating best practices for capacity and availability management, a unique opportunity as part of a recently-formed team. You'll develop robust strategies to ensure everything runs smoothly, whether it's executing disaster recovery drills, monitoring performance metrics, or resourcing our Account Management teams with key insights for customer presentations.

About you:

As a person who thrives on both technical challenges and big-picture thinking, you'll be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, tackling the backlog of tasks, and improving the processes you interact with. If you have a passion for efficiency, an aptitude for data, and love taking the initiative, you'll find yourself right at home in this role.

This is a hybrid role, the successful candidate must be prepared for regular travel across their offices in Glasgow or Edinburgh, ensuring you stay connected with the wider team and the fast-paced environment they are looking at building.

To be successful, you'll need a solid understanding of Azure, particularly its cost management tools and performance monitoring capabilities. You'll be skilled at producing and interpreting data reports, with a sharp focus on resource allocation and capacity management. Additionally, your experience with disaster recovery drills will be key to ensuring system resiliency.

Beyond the technical aspects, there's plenty of room to grow. If you've worked with penetration testing or have a deeper understanding of SaaS database technologies like Microsoft SQL Server, or security tools like SIEM, that's a plus.

Your contributions will help shape the future of how they manage capacity and ensure seamless availability across our platforms.

In return:

Our client offer a generous holidays, discretionary bonus scheme, 4% pension contributions, private healthcare extended to household members. Plus additional perks!

Ready to make an impact? Apply today and become a key player in this exciting journey!
