You will be joining a very well-established, prestigious and highly regarded Specialist Law Firm as their Secretarial Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. This newly created role will involve looking after a team of 11 Secretaries who are based in London and Reading. The firm have very modern and luxurious offices in the heart of the City of London where you will be working 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for the remaining 2 days.

Role Responsibilities

In your new role, you will be responsible for working for up to 4 fee-earners on a daily basis, general typing, preparing court bundles and visa applications, allocating secretarial work across all offices, opening new client files, typing legal documents, filing, answering calls, booking appointments, diary management, motivating and inspiring the secretarial population, supporting the team during any system/process changes, acting as a positive role model, producing and amending billing guides, creating invoices, sharing knowledge and holding monthly Secretary meetings.

Role Requirements

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to possess at least 5 years of experience in a Secretarial or similar role, have outstanding communication skills, possess a can-do, flexible and willing attitude and have meticulous attention to detail. Line management experience is an essential requirement for this role. You will be a highly organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with a proactive approach to all tasks. You will have excellent prioritisation skills and be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. You will be able to manage both client and colleague expectations effectively, possess strong IT skills, be able to manage sensitive documents and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a busy workload.

In Return

You will receive a salary of up to £55,000 (depending on experience) + Benefits (including 28 days annual leave + bank holidays, Birthday day off, 5% matched pension contribution, income protection and life assurance) and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate. You will be joining a very well-known Law Firm that can provide excellent future progression opportunities and you will be part of a very supportive and high-performing team.
