Responsible Individual / Head of Care
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £60,000
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm
We are partnering with a new residential service provider for children aged 11-18, seeking an experienced Responsible Individual / Head of Care to lead the setup and operation of their new home. You will provide strategic leadership, oversee recruitment, and ensure regulatory compliance with Ofsted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and lead the Registered Manager and staff team.
- Manage the home's setup and Ofsted registration.
- Provide line management for Registered Managers and ensure service quality.
- Conduct visits, provide feedback, and oversee staff supervision.
- Maintain financial performance through occupancy management.
- Work with Directors to ensure the service's development.
- Handle inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Proven experience with Ofsted-regulated children's homes.
- Experience in setting up new residential services is highly desirable.
- Full UK driving licence required.
