Description
Scheduler's will create & administer schedules of work for field team members to meet operational needs in respect of planned and reactive activities.
As a scheduler, you'll help to provide a first-class service to our customers. Your main responsibilities include speaking to customers to keep them informed of their work (confirming that it's scheduled in and providing an estimated time of arrival), liaising with the Field when required and maximising the productivity of the Field. Answering calls, making decisions to determine the most appropriate response to minimising customer inconvenience and maximising the number of jobs issued every day.
You will be the first point of contact for engineers, dealing with many jobs that you will need to prioritise. Make decisions as to what resources are needed and communicate with engineers and Field Team Managers to deliver the best service you can with the resource available. You will be required to make decisions regarding resource availability in day / week and escalate any issues to your Team Leader.
