A leading insurance company have and exciting new opportunity for a Claims Manager to head up their Marine and Aviation claims division.
Responsibilities will include managing a team of handlers for the Aviation and Marine lines of business and taking a lead role in negotiating claims settlements and establishing adequate claim reserves.??????? Additionally you will be responsible for managing relationships with service providers, including TPAs, outsource providers and panel lawyers and adjusters.
The successful applicant will have a sound technical knowledge of Marine and/or Aviation claims. Management experience would be advantageous but our client are happy to consider Senior Claims Adjusters looking to step up into a Claims Manager position. Solid experience of London Market processes and procedures would be a bonus. This will be a hybrid role.
