Manufacturing Operations Engineer
Contract Duration: 6 months outside IR35
Hourly Rate: Negotiable DOE
Location: Onsite full time, DERBY
We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Engineer (MOE) to support projects involving manufactured hardware. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of project and manufacturing engineering to assist integrated product teams (IPTs).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create, update, and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs) for multiple projects.
- Interface between purchasing, design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
- Ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements.
- Set and execute project schedules, provide status updates, and resolve non-conformances.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or relevant technical field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- CAD experience is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to make technical presentations.
