PCB Layout Engineer Permanent Full-Time
Salary - Circa £37,000 DOE

Fluxia is seeking a talented PCB Layout Engineer to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our electronics design team, you'll be responsible for translating schematic designs into reliable and manufacturable printed circuit boards (PCBs) using industry-leading tools.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
- Collaborate closely with electronics design engineers to understand design requirements and constraints
- Design and optimize PCB layouts using industry-standard tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
- Ensure PCB designs meet electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements, including signal integrity and thermal management
- Implement best practices for high-speed digital and analogue PCB layout techniques
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve overall design quality and manufacturability
- Work closely with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to ensure successful production of PCBs
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in PCB layout techniques and technologies
Experiences required
- 2 to 5 Years proven experience in PCB layout design, preferably in a high-tech industry
- Proficiency in using PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and PCB manufacturing processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
