Sales and returns team administrator

Posted by Girlguiding.

Trading Service is recruiting a Sales and returns administrator. Trading service provides uniform, resources, badges and gifts to our members along with other customer services. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join the team in Cheshire.

As an administrator you will be required to work as part of the Sales and information team providing an effective sales and returns processing service to the Associations customers, ensuring agreed levels of service are met. The job involves telephone and email customer contact. You should enjoy customer interaction and working in a busy environment as part of a team that's sociable, fun and thrives on providing excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will have experience in working with service providers, analysing and reporting order delivery and stock information and recommending improvement actions. In addition, you will have strong verbal and written communication skills, be proficient using Microsoft office programs, stock management systems and ideally courier reporting systems.

Girlguiding operates a hybrid working arrangement and due to the nature of this role, there will be a requirement to attend the office 60% of working time. We're committed though to supporting our staff to achieve a good work-life balance and offer flexible working options wherever we reasonably can. All staff are required to carry out our online health and safety training and complete a DSE risk assessment to ensure we can provide the support you require.

About Girlguiding

This is a really exciting time to join Girlguiding. We have much to be proud of in our one hundred years of history, but we know that to remain vibrant and relevant to young people we must continually evolve.

We've begun a process of significant change: transforming the organisation so it can meet the challenges of the future by putting young people at the heart of our organisation. We're on a mission to amplify the voices of girls and young women, so they can champion change in their own lives and the wider world; to build strong partnerships that can increase our reach and impact; and to increase the support we offer our amazing adult volunteers who deliver incredible experiences to young people across the UK every week.

Girlguiding values the differences that a diverse workforce brings and is committed to inclusivity, and to employing and supporting a diverse workforce. Girlguiding is proud to be part of the Stonewall Diversity Champions programme, a member of the Business Disability Forum, and a member of Time to Change. While Girlguiding's young members may be women only, our staff team is mixed gender. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
