We are seeking a Science Teacher who is passionate, motivated, and dedicated to delivering high-quality education and achieving excellent student outcomes.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Teach Science to KS3 and KS4 students, with the potential to teach KS5 for suitable candidates.
- Create engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students.
- Assess, track, and report on students' progress and attainment.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and participate in departmental activities.
- Engage in continuous professional development and collaborate with colleagues to share best practices.
- Participate in a wide range of co-curricular activities, including STEM initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Ability to teach Science at KS3 and KS4, with KS5 being desirable.
- A passion for Science and education, with a commitment to developing as a professional.
- Excellent classroom management skills and high expectations for all students.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
