Job Description
To inspect managed properties, identify issues and coordinate repairs and maintenance. To keep Landlords compliant by ensuring all periodic testing is carried out and recorded. Any other duties deemed necessary by Management to cover absence.
Responsibilities
- Undertake property/void inspections of managed properties, identify issues, obtain quotes, liaise with Landlords and Maintenance to resolve issues.
- Ensure all periodic testing is agreed with Landlord, carried out and recorded.
- Be the first point of contact for repairs and maintenance for our tenants.
- Investigate and process all maintenance reports.
- Provide day to day coordination of reported repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction around repairs and maintenance.
- Provide effective admin support to the rest of the team when cover is required.
- Continually monitor and maintain accurate records.
- Undertake continuing professional development.
- Work in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Person Specification
Qualification in Housing/Property management - Desirable but not essential, but willing to learn.
Qualification in Administration - Desirable
Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car - Essential
Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programmes and willing to learn new systems -Essential
Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of staff and customers - Essential
Ability to be reactive, work under pressure to time-scales and prioritise
Own workload effectively - Essential
Knowledge/previous experience
Experience of providing excellent customer service (including good telephone and written communication) - Essential
Knowledge of household premises maintenance issues - Desirable
Database/Management Information Systems - Essential
Knowledge of current legislation regarding periodic testing - Desirable, but can be taught
Communicating with numerous persons and ensuring all demands are met - Essential
