Tranquil Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for a client who are expanding their operations team and is actively seeking highly motivated Warehouse Operatives. Based in Chorley, this role involves working as part of the operations team to meet the growing demand for care home consumable products.
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am-6:30pm - including all Bank Holidays (excluding Christmas Day and New Year's Day)
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing multiple orders
- Loading vehicles
- Handling stock discrepancies and conducting stock takes
- Utilising warehouse equipment
- Collaborating with various departments as needed
- Maintaining a safe, healthy, and clean working environment
- Potentially operating forklift trucks (with relevant licences)
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Positive and hardworking attitude
- Strong team player
- Ability to represent yourself, the team, and the company in a professional and positive manner
- A current driving licence would be advantageous
- A Bendi FLT licence is required
